ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the increasing reserves of natural gas in the U.S. Concerns are expressed over various facts like increasing global energy costs, finiteness of hydrocarbons as a resource, climate effects and the need for U.S. energy independence following the increasing reserves of natural gas.
