ABSTRACT
The article reports on U.S. President Barack Obama's State of the Union address. President Obama expressed his dedication to education, wishing to save schools from budget cuts in Congress. Obama believes in increasing public investments in education to increase jobs creation in the U.S. and not in foreign soil. This opinion is shared by American Federation of Teachers (AFT) president Randi Weingarten, claiming those investments will help the nation, democracy, and the success of future generations.
