The article focuses on the decline in the revenue of Saddle Brook, New Jersey-based publisher Peoples Education by 18.6% for the third quarter ending February 28, 2009. The drop of revenue was attributed to the lower revenue from its Test Preparation, Assessment and Instruction (TAI) segment. Brian Beckwith, president and chief executive officer (CEO), states that despite the drop in the TAI segment, revenue from the Focused Instruction line of supplemental materials has seen an 11% increase.
