The author focuses on copyright protection for bloggers. She discusses Righthaven LLC, a technology company that obtains the rights to newspaper articles and sues for copyright infringement of those articles. The author suggests ways for bloggers to protect themselves from litigation including not copying, falling under the fair use limitation, and registering with the U.S. Copyright Office.
