ABSTRACT
The article reports on a patient care model called the Planetree model, in which medical personnel don't treat patients the way that they would like to be treated but focuses instead on finding out how each patient wants to be treated. A discussion of success which Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, Virginia has had with the model is presented.
