ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to education in the U.S. including the 418,000 dollars expenditure of the Kalamazoo Board of Education in Michigan for new math textbooks from kindergarten to grade five, the two million dollar program which will be implemented in elementary schools in Wichita school district in Kansas and the adoption of the California Treasures reading and language arts program by Baldwin Park school district in California for kindergarten until grade six.
