ABSTRACT
The article reports on the collaboration between Pearson PLC and Newark public schools to launch an electronic instructional purchasing platform called Pearson Punchout in the U.S. It details the functional capabilities of Punchout which is said provide direct links between the Newark purchasing system and Pearson system. Joyce Lee, Newark schools purchasing director expresses her intent of setting up similar systems with textbook publishers.
