ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the benefits and damages caused by mercury, a material found as mercuric sulfide in the mineral cinnabar. It says that mercury is used in dentistry, cosmetics, and electronics but it is harmful to health if directly inhaled or taken which attacks the nervous system leading to itching and burning. It highlights the value of mercury analysis conducted by a consultant or analytical laboratory. It also suggests checking with local authorities for mercury target levels.
