ABSTRACT
The article reports on the lead of fiction against nonfiction books in the bestselling titles over the four weeks ending May 30, 2009 in the U.S. It shows that fiction obtained 34 bestselling books while nonfiction obtained 16 bestselling books under the top 50 in the market. Several charts are presented depicting the top 20 authors, titles, and imprints for May 2009 including "Angels and Demons," by Dan Brown, "The Shack," by William P. Young, and "Sail," by James Patterson.
