ABSTRACT
The article discusses the purchase of a book as a gift. It says that it is easier to buy a book if the giver knows which book the recipient wants, except when the recipient asks for an online book. It adds that though there have been electronic (e)-reading devices available, several U.S. adults cannot afford buying such device. Meanwhile, it mentions Experian Simmons' summer 2010 numbers that 62 million U.S. adults bought no less than one book as a gift, compared to over 71 million in 2009.
