The article reports on the consumption of political science title books in the U.S. from October 2008 to September 2009. It states that 99 editions of 96 political science titles came out on the weekly bestseller lists under 46 imprints coming from 89 authors. Of the released books, 78 were new International Standard Book Numbers (ISBNs), 10 were previous bestsellers' news editions and 27 new authors contributed to the database.
