ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a two-year data reported by Medtronic from the largest multicenter randomized controlled study or Kyphon balloon kyphoplasty for spine fractures, which indicated that balloon kyphoplasty relieved back pain, increased patient satisfaction and improved mobility and quality of life more than non-surgical care in the treatment of painful spinal fractures.
