ABSTRACT
The article reports that Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is testing its new line of 63-inch radial off-the-road (OTR) tires and is planning for its first production run in mid-April 2011 at its Topeka, Kansas plant. The company is on schedule to introduce the RM-3A and RM-4A+ tires for the replacement market in sizes 53/80R63 and 59/80R63 as their demand is strong. Goodyear expects demand for 63-inch OTR tires to exceed available capacity due to global mining projects in emerging economies
