ABSTRACT
The article focuses on new technologies related to the Daubert standard for scientific expertise adopted by U.S. states. The factors that should be considered in order to provide a unified approach to verifying the validity and acceptability of new technologies include the solid background of the technologists, the licensed professional who interprets the results, and the standardized protocol used for testing the new technology. The article also details how new technology can fulfill forensic criteria of utilization.
