UTI president Jeff Martin tells that the key to the survival of the company during the 2007-2010 Great Recession was treating every department of the company as a major business including leasing operations, service, and sales. Another reason for survival of UTI is appointing Bill Hathorn as its general manager, wherein he led at constructing stocks of new and used trailers, which resulted to 3 million dollars in sales.
