The article reports that the pre-1960 registry files of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) were deposited in the Modern Records Centre of the University of Warwick Library between 1987 and 1989. The Centre received a generous grant from the Leverhulme Trust for a three-year project to catalogue the deposit and produce a Sources Booklet. At the end of the first year of this work an Information Leaflet (No.9 in the Centre's series) was published, giving principal source references for several hundred selected keywords and listing in an appendix minutes series within the deposit. The leaflet is available from the Modem Records Centre, University of Warwick Library. The catalogue in progress, which already extends to several hundred pages, may only be consulted in the Modern Records Centre at this stage.
