ABSTRACT
The article reports that Fullerton, California-based Yokohama Tire Corp. is planning to expand capacity at its plant in Salem, Massachusetts to handle its gains in the marketplace. According to Rex Simpson, vice president of administration, the project will include the addition of new tire-building and mixing machines, and conveyors and other support equipment. Yokohama is planning to complete the expansion project by August or September 2011.
