ABSTRACT
The article presents information on the 75 year old rubber company Holz Rubber Co. Inc. Dave Smith, president of Holz, mentions that the industry has customers who have lack of confidence in the economy and holding off the capital purchase due to recession. Holz started the elastomeric expansion joint market in 1974 and started working with the oil and gas clients in meeting their exploration needs from 1980. Dave describes that Holz's short-term goal is to establish itself as the leading brand.
