The article reports that trade groups have expressed concerns on the compliance requirements set by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) for financial literacy standards for federal credit union (CU) board members. It notes that CUES president Fred Johnson has pondered on the efforts of the regulator for the finalization of the rule. It adds NCUA director John McKechnie has said that the agency is continuing its review on the benefits issue.
