ABSTRACT
This article highlights the October 1996 conference of the 30th Oral History Association, held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Attending the conference prior to the North American Labor History Conference produced a sense of seeing the same subject from slightly different perspective. There were continuing rapport between labor and oral historians, but there was also evidence of divergence. The Association's conference indicated the mutual benefits, in terms of sources and methods, of oral labor historians continuing to meet one another.
