ABSTRACT
This article discusses the history of Great Britain's House of Industry League (HOIL), which was a Guild Socialist body active between 1936 and the late 1940s. HOIL was considered the last organization of significance in the classical tradition of British Guild Socialism. The organization is seen in the turn of polical activity of the circle surrounding the Serb intellectual Dimitrije Mitrinovic. Mitrinovic gathered a group around him who were interested in his ideas, the group first started to engaged in public activity in 1927. By that time the Mitrinovic circle had become interested in an openly political activity.
