ABSTRACT
The article presents information on various books on international relations. Some of them are "Political Thinking and Consciousness," by Robert K. Lank that is a psycho-political study exploring the private and often unconscious wellsprings of the political ideas of college students, and "Nationalism and Its Alternatives," by Karl W. Deutsch that is an essay on nationalism. Also mentioned is "Power," by Adolf A. Berle, which is a brave attempt to construct a general theory of power through "five laws," which are seen by the author as universally valid in human society. There is much that is challenging and thoughtful in this book, but the publisher's claim that it is the first comprehensive treatise on the subject over a considerable period of time is somewhat exaggerated. The books explore range of issues on international relations and foreign policy. Along with the information related to the content of the book, the article also provides publisher information, author credits and the price of the books.
