ABSTRACT
The article reports how nutrient management is used by farmers across Europe to increase their agriculture yield. Improved nitrogen use can boost up the productivity especially in Europe because here arable farms are about 55-75% efficient in nitrogen use. Guidelines in the Fertiliser Manual (RB209) says that reliable analysis of soil types, history of cropping, fertiliser and manure applications is the basic step to do this. Better manure management should also be done for this.
