ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of remote technology in St. Joseph's Healthcare System in Paterson, New Jersey. The technology is implemented during the hospital's coordination with other organizations, including the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, about pediatric cardiology cases such as pediatric open-heart surgery. Moreover, St. Joseph's Children's Hospital also employs telemedicine technology when consulting with high-risk obstetric experts.
