ABSTRACT
The article discusses the author's relationship with her father and their reunion on his 80th birthday. The author recalls that during her childhood she had an estranged relationship with him with neither of them showing any affection. She mentions that on the 80th birthday of his father she gifted him the quilt which she started making for him many years ago. She discusses that her father liked the gift and for the first time they expressed affection to each other.
