ABSTRACT
The article discusses how to properly organize systems documents in order to reduce barriers to communication, highlighting organization efforts by a multi-department aerospace corporation. The article discusses the need for focusing on the needs of the reader as well as those of the writer, and discusses the four components of a system: an objective, requirements to meet the objective, responsibility for the objectives, and an element of sequence. The article presents an example of efficient systems procedure.
