ABSTRACT
The article discusses network automatic call distribution (NACD). NACD is a complex electronic switching system that is capable of routing call traffic across a network. It makes possible the sharing of operations in a call center set up and enhances regional coordination of individual sites. Public safety answering points (PSAP) benefit from NACD because now they can network to multiple call distribution systems. A diagram of the PSAP routing policies is presented.
