ABSTRACT
The article presents the clinical practice guideline of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons for treatment of glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis. It provides a summary of recommendations including the use of pharmacotherapy, injectable corticosteroids, and injectable viscosupplementation in treating patients with glenohumeral joint osteoarthritis. It also notes recommendations on physical therapy and specific type of prosthetic design or methods of fixation.
