To think that any domain of medicine is fully known is the clearest proof of a very limited quantity of knowledge. Arterial hypertension is, especially, a medical domain in which the road to walk to the optimal management can be considered similar to the distance to the horizon line. The best proof is the huge number of papers and scienti? c meetings that are continuously bringing new knowledge. That's why such reviews are necessary.
