ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the use of software as a service (SaaS) and cloud computing in banks. It says that Community First Bank in Montana has invested in a SaaS-enabled origination platform from Xetus Inc. to enhance its cost certainty. It says that State Street Corp. expects 600 million dollars cut from operating costs in 2014 through private processing clouds. Moreover, Kristine Pfeiler of Gartner Inc. adds that banks will be spending on data center and process improvement.
