ABSTRACT
The article reports on the 50% stake now owned by Advent International at Terminal de Conteineres de Paranagua S/A (TCP). Existing shareholder of TCP such as Pattac Empreendimentos e Participacoes S/A, TUC Participacoes Portuarias S/A, Soifer Participacoes Societarias Ltda., Grup Maritim TCB, S.L. and Galigrain S.A. will hang on to the remaining stake of the company. According to Advent's spokeswoman, the firm financed the investment with capital from its Latin America Private Equity Fund V.
