ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the significance of outsourcing on investment management in the U.S. It notes that the task for investment management is getting increasingly difficult and time-consuming. It looks at perspectives of several financial experts, who include Alice Lowenstein, director at Litman/Gregory Asset Management in California, Dave Welling, chief solutions officer at Black Diamond Performance Reporting LLC in Florida and Cindy Richey, president of Prosperity Planning Inc. in Missouri, on the importance of outsourcing. It outlines several investment management outsourcing models, action plans for outsourcing process and some decision factors to be considered in making final decisions. Moreover, the idea about handling outsourcing costs and the future of outsourcing are explained.
