The article focuses on the troubleshooting methods for resolving paint problems, based on the 2010 Fabtech presentation titled "Structured Troubleshooting: A Disciplined Approach to Finding and Resolving Paint Issues," by Jeff Watson of Custom Chemicals in Atlanta, Georgia. He stressed the importance of using a common language between operators, management and supervisor. He cited the factors to consider when a paint problem arises. He recommended a full documentation of causes, effects and cures in troubleshooting.
