The article discusses the author's views on the importance of appropriate data capture in the financial services sector and other business organizations. He raises several queries in the aspects of data distribution, duplication, and data extraction in centralized or decentralized functional units. The author admits that all the questions may be answered with vast improvements in the provision, timing, and analysis of data.
