The article focuses on the paper "Using Climate Change Literature to Support Climate Change Response" by Richard Slaughter, published in a 2009 issue of the "Journal of Integral Theory and Practice," wherein he discussed the use of Integral Theory in resolving the global climate change crisis. One tool of Integral Theory used by Slaughter is The Four Quadrants, defined by the x-axis being the range of an individual's inner being to the external environment and the y-axis ranging from concerns as collective beings to individual beings.
