ABSTRACT
The article discusses the global financial crisis from 2007-2010. The author notes the role of the speed and computing power of modern technology in the magnitude of the crisis. He explains that the crisis was a result of mortgage brokers extending sub-prime mortgages and insiders working out how to sell the mortgage market through securitization. He predicts a rise in potential violent conflicts as well as inequality around the world.
