ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the significance of evidence-based design (EBD) for health care facilities in the U.S. It states that the architectural design, which ties the elements of the physical environment with patients, staffs and resource outcomes help enhance patient's well-being. It notes that three EBD applications for healthcare design includes incorporation of views of nature, increase daylight in interior spaces and presence of therapeutic gardens.
