The article focuses on the growth plans of BTIG. The brokerage recently opened a trading floor for 200 professionals and is planning expand further in the equity, equity derivatives and fixed income markets. However, co-founder Steven Starker pointed out that while they are open to traditional investment banking in the future, it is not currently their focus.
