ABSTRACT
The article presents a message from Sue Byrd, president of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) in the U.S. She states that the association aimed at providing support and leadership among professionals who assists families, individuals and communities in achieving an optimal quality of life. She expresses her gratitude to the association's former president Marilyn Swierk and members who have contributed much in the success of the AAFCS.
