The article presents insights of executives from Comcast Corp. and NBC Universal Inc. on some background on where vetting of their joint venture deal by the U.S. Justice Department and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) stands. They mention that the joint venture will be bound to the public-interest conditions offered up by NBCU and Comcast when the deal was announced. They note that the companies will get informal feedback from FCC or Justice by the end of summer in 2010.
