ABSTRACT
The article reports on a multiyear partnership signed by Martha Stewart with Crown Media's Hallmark Channel to bring home and lifestyle programming to the channel. Stewart, known for helping viewers on remodeling their homes, will inherit a daily afternoon block that currently airs off-network programming like "The Golden Girls." According to Ed Georger, executive vice president of ad sales, they have already experienced a 20% increase in advertising volume because of the addition of Stewart's lifestyle programming.
