ABSTRACT
This work presents the development of a novel detection method named Photoinduced Nucleation Detection (PIND). PIND is capable of detecting substances at extremely low concentrations in ambient air. Methods of obtaining substance specificity including the substance's UV light absorption spectrum, and gas chromatography are also presented.
