ABSTRACT
In this article the author describes hybrid methods for bamboo-product manufacturing which were developed to change Indonesians' perception of bamboo as a substandard material. These hybrid techniques are combinations of traditional and advanced methods in levels of Modified Traditional Method, Combination of Traditional and Advanced Methods and Adapted Advanced Method. Prototypes of hybrid bamboo products, which include a set of eating utensils made of bamboo veneer and splits, and bamboo stools are also described.
