ABSTRACT
The article discusses the challenges facing the healthcare services in the U.S. It states that the collaborative care model of delivering mental health care consists of a set of standardized protocols to identify and treat conditions. The report "Integrating Mental Health Treatment Into the Patient Centered Medical Home" compared strategies used to deliver mental health treatment in primary care and in medical homes. The role of financial incentives for primary care physicians in improving quality of care is mentioned.
