ABSTRACT
The article presents a forecast by the Business Monitor International (BMI) Ltd. on the impact of austerity in Czech Republic's economic sector. According to BMI, as the country's economy remains strong in its expansion, austerity in domestic and region will slightly increase by an average of 3.7% between 2012 and 2016. It states that the real gross domestic product (GDP) has increased at 1.1% on quarter-on-quarter (q-o-q) basis. It adds that the export trade will continue to grow through 2011.
