ABSTRACT
In this article the authors discuss the H1N1 virus and influenza, means of stopping the spread of infection, and classroom activities and resources to address pandemic influenza. They state that the said virus is a pathogen that targets respiratory cells. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the symptoms of H1N1 influenza are similar to seasonal influenza, such as fever, cough and sore throat.
