Malaysia finds glycerin use

The article offers information on the chemical facilities to be built in Malaysia by Glycos Biotechnologies Inc. (GlycosBio) and METabolic EXplorer (METEX), using glycerin. It is stated that Malaysian state agency Malaysia Biotechnology Corp. attracted the two foreign investors to develop and commercialize new uses of glycerin as part of the government's goal to increase its global biotechnology presence. The facilities are also aimed at creating new opportunities for its palm industry.
