ABSTRACT
The article presents the strategies for the sales of Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies (REMS) which assures the benefits of a medication outweighing the risks. REMS is composed of communication plan, medication guide, implementation plan, elements to assure safe use (ETASU), and assessment timeline. It notes that understanding how REMS sales work and ensuring its effectiveness benefit everyone. REMS benefit enables a drug with risks to be in the market or keep it from being withdrawn.
