ABSTRACT
The article offers the author's insight on the significance of mass media and social networking in Alberta. He confesses that he is a recovering novelist with a heavy dose of poetry. He sees hope in social networks with the developing strategies of the Internet. He explains that social networking is a new version of story written by authors who invent others and themselves.
