The article offers the author's opinion on using common sense highlighting the proliferation of software applications. It states that despite electronic tools, a management must still train its employees to use their common sense rather than rely on artificial intelligence. It lists five common-sense rules that are said to have saved careers, transactions, or improved business which include counting to ten before sending an electronic-mail.
